27. Post-radiotherapy - Picking Up The Pieces
The urgency of the previous six months had gone, but I wasn’t ok. I was still undergoing targeted treatment but emotionally and physically I was exhausted. I was struggling to pick up the pieces and eventually I had to admit I needed help. Through it all Bella was there keeping me going.
25. Radiotherapy
After successful surgery the next step was radiotherapy. Here I share the planning, the daily treatments, Christmas between appointments, the emotions of nearing the end of intensive treatment and why ringing the bell wasn’t quite as straightforward as I expected.
